A career counseling program organized by Agra Branch of CIRC at St. Conrad's Inter College , Agra was concluded successfully. The program was attended by Branch Head Mr. Mukesh Goyal ,Secretary Mr Pankaj Jain, Chartered Accountant Mr. G.P.Agarwal, Rakesh Jain, Mr Prashant Sharma and Organizer C.A. Sandeep Kappor information about new curriculum and examination pattern was discussed. According to the new pattern the examination of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will be of 4 hours duration and it will be based on Subjective Questions. Minimum qualifying percentage will be 50 %. In order to be a CA, one will have to clear PCC and CA final exam after CPT . In this way a student can become a CA in three and a half years. CA Prashant Sharma and CA Sandeep Kapoor gave answers to the questions put up by the students and CA Rakesh Jain, CA G.P.Agarwal highlighted the specialities of the new Curriculum. CA Mukesh Goyal emphasized on the increasing demand of the people in the Accounting Profession and also told about the future Prospects of this profession. He said, that in order to be in step with the developing times, the need of financial experts can not be neglected CAs are employed at various high profile positions across the world and are laying an important role in the economic development.
